In the late summer of 2019, Todd traveled to Sardinia for a while. Typical tourists bring back figures and stickers from souvenir shops, Todd collects impressions and song ideas and smuggles them
over borders across the Mediterranean Sea. Unlike the others who take a look at the figure with the headband standing on the shelf or at the red/white sticker on the window to dream of the
vacation, Todd grabs the guitar and reminds of the saved impressions. The crossing of the Supramonte mountains apparently impressed him so much that he dedicates a song to it, a song that shows
that a journey through this landscape has a lot to offer. During the day, the expedition vehicle rolls over the dusty gravel roads along the coast. Gradually the path becomes narrower and it is
partially blocked by stones and trunks. The time is running out to reach the overnight place in the mountains before night. After the arrival it quickly gets dark and cold and the storm that has
already been announced makes the tent tarpaulin flutter. But even that should not keep you from stargazing in Sardinia. At that moment one question arises: Is that the same country as it was in
the early afternoon?
The next morning the engine is started, the next paved road is sought and cruised until a turquoise blue bay appears in front of the bonnet. Even if the trip slowly fades out at this moment, the
memory of supramonte will remain.
