Tidal Men used the DAW Ableton Live and a MIDI pedal board as their loop station in their first In the loop session, which gave the songwriting process its own character. The song is not just a single loop structure, but only individual passages. These fragments were then triggered during the actual recording and at the same time sounds and beats were overdubbed, whereby the different passages melt together to form a complete song. Subsequently, only a name had to be found. Since a Tidal Man was massively delayed and therefore the session did not end until shortly before midnight, the naming process was completed quite quickly.
