Frank would not be Frank if he did not throw the whole In the loop concept over the top and interpret it in his own way. Nobody could have guessed that this already happened in the second session. While other artists and bands use standard instruments and just start playing, Frank generally creates a database of sounds first. Equipped with a microphone, he scouts the studio environment and records the craziest sounds to create a beat, picks randomly into the CD shelf to select vocal samples and turns a guitar into a sitar. After all necessary samples have been recorded, cut to the right size and placed on any pads, cassettes or elsewhere, the actual In the Loop section was able to start.
