Mountaineer Records was created for all those who want to fulfil themselves and have no commercial motives, who want to create something own and do not want to sound like ..., who like to share their creative thoughts with others, who are adventurous and open-minded.

Mountaineer Records includes bands, single artists and music projects that do not share a particular genre but share the same philosophy of making music. The spectrum ranges from old school recorded country influenced music up to super-duper fancy electronic sounds. The place where the signature Mountaineer Records sound is created is the Rursound Studio, which is located in the rural Rur Valley. There, first song ideas are developed, varied sound experiments are carried out, instruments are recorded and mixed, listening sessions are held and each song is given its own individual touch.
